| Lost for days, weeks, and months. Still trying to find that one special place. Hearing water in the distance and I find hope. I see people on the other side, Almost calling out my name. Oh how I long to be with those people. I follow their voices, trying to call out in return, Only to be answered by the sea. The waves crashed so violently and almost with rage. Fear almost trembled out of me as I stood near the edge. I was still too far, Too far from their hands to grab. I wish to be with them, Be loved by them like before. But no matter how far I try to get, they always seem too far. Still lost in this place called life, Never will I understand it clearly without the help of others. | A creature that never dies. A soul so pure of light and strength. A creature that over rules the great darkness. Many bow to the wondrous creature, And call it a God. I have always wondered to myself, Would it be possible that I, too, could be reborn, Just like the great Phoenix itself? Would I be able to overcome the darkness that threaten me? And would I be able to have others notice me because of my great talent? Though, there is a different reason for my wants. It is not to get the spot-light. It is not to overcome the darkness. It is not even for the power. My reason is to be able to fly. Fly under the sun which keeps me alive for an eternity. If I am able to get this wish, Then I do not need to worry about the darkness that threaten me. Let me be reborn, To be alive. |
